Carolina Cajal


Graduated from the General San Martin Provincial Conservatory and selected as double bass player for the two-year Orquesta Escuela de Tango Emilio Balcarce programme in 2006 and 2007.

She has played with renowned artists such as Ramiro Gallo, Eleonora Cassano, Mafalda Arnauth (Portugal), Zully Goldfarb, Pepe Soriano and Nacha Guevara on various stages from Spain to Germany,  Japon, Singapore, Thailand, Finland, Brazil and Turkey. She played on the following ambums: Por los Senderos del Aire (2009), Victorino Tango (2009),  Ramón Maschio (2009) and Recalada (2010).

Today she works as a double bass instructor for the School Orchestras programme in Buenos Aires Province and at the National University of San Martin on the undergraduate degree course for Argentine music directed by Juan Falú.

She has been a member of the Quinteto Bataraz and Orquesta Silencio since 2013.
