Pablo Farhat



Born in Santiago del Estero Province

He started his studies of Argentine popular music in guitar and violin in Santiago del Estero Province with Professor Ricardo Cianferoni and Mario Lobo, respectively.  In 2003 he started to study with Prof. Dimitri Pokras (Russia), Prof. Dante Medina and Arnaldo Ghione at the National University of Cordoba (UNC). In Buenos Aires, he studied violin with Roberto Calomarde and in La Plata with José Bondar.

He participated in numerous folk festivals and was awarded special distinctions in the pre-Laborde and pre-Cosquin festivals. He has also been a member of symphonic ensembles and organizations such as the String Quartet of the Faculty of Arts at UNC and the Córdoba Ensemble (working in both on contemporary music), the Provincial Symphony Orchestra of Rosario and the National Symphony Orchestra of Argentina.

He has been a member of Quinteto Bataraz since 2013.
